I tried out my new technique here…I think I was going for a pedal effect on the side of the cake, but now that I look at it, it resembles scales! Either way, cool technique, I think I’ll use it more often.
Michigan State beat Michigan for the FOURTH year in a row! I finally got to make some beautiful cupcakes. To my husband, dad, brothers, son, nephews and brother-in-laws…eat this! (and by that I mean the cupcakes, of course)

I am in love with frozen buttercream transfers. The idea is just genius, too bad I didn’t think of it! I did FBCT with the name and “happy birthday” too, but I had to reverse the image so it turned out the right way.
My titles are getting really boring, I may need to start getting a little more creative. I made this cake for my friend’s boyfriend, while it was painful to make yet another set of Michigan cupcakes I did wear my MSU hoodie the entire time. :)
